Lovely food and drinks with lovely friendly staff. Go for the sticky toffee pudding with custard.
First time at The Forge. Tempura vegetables consisted of overcooked broc onion carrot and mushroom very oily. Main course I had a green Thai prawn curry. Consisted of four or five prawns and more over cooked vegetables I asked were they frozen? The curry itself was very watery I myself prefer a thicker consistency and there's usually a lot more creamy sauce I was so disappointed and just ate the prawns.Staff were great asked if they could get me something else I declined.My partners mock duck red curry was definitely a better choice Less is more...comes to mind.Expensive considering the quality
Fantastic food. A bad meal is extremely rare and the desserts are to die for. Ive been so many times to this restaurant (and their old one) that Ive lost count. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that service can be a little poor. In all my time coming here Ive only been asked on one occasion if I would like another drink once Ive finished. This doesnt bother me too much though as I will usually go to the bar and order another rather than wait.
